Prussian 1-3 and 6 Field Artillery Regiments - Enlisted Man Model 1895. Beautiful black lacquered leather helmet body with high polished brass trim. All brass trim is evenly oxidized to a subdued brown except the frontplate with is lightly gilded. The helmet body has perfect form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer is flawless and in near mint condition. The interior of the helmet has black enlisted style leather liner that is also in near mint condition. The inner back visor of the helmet is stamped in back "B.-A. L.". No extra holes in the helmet body. The front plate is the Prussian Line Regiments Eagle with the "FWR" monogram in center of eagles chect. The frontplate is held to the helmet by the original leather wedges. Spike base with non-removable ball. Original rounded M94 chinscales on M1891 side lugs. Reichs and Prussian EM style cockades. This helmet is 100% original and untouched. Great WWI era rare artillery helmet. Very hard to find in this quality.
