Prussian Field Artillery Officers Pickelhaube

Prussian Field Artillery Officer for Line Regiments Model 1897. Absolutely MINT CONDITION. Beautiful black lacquered helmet body with fine fire gilded trim. Helmet body has perfect form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer has bright finish but is in near mint condition. Frontplate is the Prussian Line Regiments eagle in fine gold.

Officer style type artillery ball top (a couple of small dings - see picture) and base with screw star retainers. No extra holes in helmet body. Interior sweat leather with beautiful white silk headliner (some tears to front and back) otherwise liner appears unworn. Rounded chinscales on rosettes over Officer Style 2- piece Reich and Prussian cockades. Over all a fantastic helmet that will be hard to upgrade.
