Prussian Felt Ersatz Infantry Pickelhaube

Helmet body in "Filz" or Felt. Body is in excellent shape with NO flaws or tears to be seen. Grey wartime trim with a round spike base and smooth spike of the model 1915 (bayonet type) maintained by 4 brads. Grey Prussian frontplate that fits over the steel grometed holes. Two small filz "plugs" of the smae material can be seen behind near the gromets. We suppose that the helmet has been arsenal reissued (hence the gromets that fit the eagle perfectly). Both original Leather wedges. Original black, thin leather lining. Lining is in very nice condition overall. Original Leather strap with both period Cockades. A very nice helmet in excellent shape and condition.
