Prussian Enlisted Model 1915 Pickelhaube - Unique writing

Prussian Line Infantry Regiments Enlisted Man Model 1915. VFW find. Black lacquered leather body with round front visor and field gray trim. Helmet has good form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer shows age but has nice sheen. Interior has an EM style leather lining that is shrunken and discolored with age. Handwritten in the lining is the mailing address to the family at home in Wisconsin. It is hard to read but as we can make out it is:
From: Pvt. V. Sorenson
Co. E, 10th Engners.
A.E.F. France.
To: ??????? Sorenson
? White Fish Bay
Wis. Box 94
Some discoloration to field gray metal trim. Round field gray spike base with 4 split brads at the spike base. Kurassier type field gray spike(not appropriate for Infantry helmet) that is slightly dented in (see photo). Front plate has a field gray Prussian Eagle. No extra holes in helmet body. No strap or Cockades. Marked on back to the "Tr.A. 8" and :"1916". Inside helmet body is maker stamp "Hans Romer, 1916, Neu Ulm". A nice salty old helmet probably put together from parts as a souvenir . A nice old helmet that was mailed home by a Doughboy . Great for display as a WWI trophy. Bargain priced
