Prussian Artillery a Foot "Fuss Artillerie" Officer for Line Regiments Model 1897. Absolutely MINT CONDITION. Beautiful black lacquered helmet body with fine Fire Gilded trim. Overall trim totally matching in quality and condition with 100% gold finish remaining. Helmet body has perfect form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer has bright finish and is in mint condition. Frontplate is the Prussian Line Regiments eagle in fine gold. No extra holes in helmet body.

Officer style artillery ball top that unscrews and round base with perlring & screw star retainers. Interior sweat leather in tan calfskin with beautiful light beige silk headliner that looks bearly worn. Flat chinscales on rosettes over Officer Style 2- piece Reich and Prussian cockades. Overall a fantastic helmet of a rare unit as most of the Artilery helmets on the market are for "Field Artillery".
