Prussian 9th Jäger Battalion Enlisted Shako
Named to Wearer. Hard to Upgrade.
Black lacquered helmet body in excelent form with firm stitching. Brass trim. Inside lining in near Mint to Mint condition with "B.A. IX" and "1914" stamping. Also penciled and named to the wearer inside the shell and on both visors "Sürgent"?? The 9th Jäger stationned in Ratzeburg was the only Jäger unit in the IXth Army corps!
Frontplate is the gilt smaller Shako Prussian Eagle for Shakos in Mint condition with 100% of its original finish. No extra holes! On top of the Eagle fits the Original "Feldzeichen" (the whitisch part and been overalled by a "novice", nonetheless an Original!). Period Leather Strap over M91 posts with a very nice "Reichs" EM Cockade. Hard to upgrade, 100% original!
