Oldenburg 91st Infantry Felt Ersatz Pickelhaube "Marked"

*RARE* Oldenburg 91st Infantry Regiment green felt Ersatz Helmet circa 1914. Felt helmet body is in excellent shape but has seen wartime wear. Brass trim with a round spike base and smooth spike maintained by 4 brads. Spike has a dent on the back side (see photos). No extra holes in felt helmet body. Inside back visor is stamped in black ink "O.J.R. 91".

Brass Line Prussian frontplate with a silver star and heraldic device from Oldenburg that fits over two small holes in eagle. Original thin leather lining that has several tears. . Original Leather strap and original Reichs and Oldenburg Cockades. This is an extremely rare and MARKED Oldenburg helmet. Original 91st Oldenburg helmet.
