Bavarian Model 1916 FeldBluse - Tunic- for a Major of the "Schwere Reiter"

Tunic is constructed of fine 'whipcord' fieldgrey cloth with NO mothing, featuring standing collar, deep 'barrel' cuffs, two lower flap pockets and skirted back with two Bavarian crown support buttons. Standard fly closure front with all buttons present. The subdued Major rank shoulder boards have a lemon-yellow base with steel-green border secured by a Bavarian crown button, as correct for wartime Schwere Reiter.

Ten loops across the left breast will easily support a 10 - 12 award ribbon bar, a pair of vertical lower loops for an award such as the EKI. Inside lining in mint condition, large size. An outstanding Tunic from a unique Regiment in near mint condition. Great wartime manufacture.
