Leather helmet body in excellent to mint condition absolutely flawless. No lacquer loss besides a small scratch (see pictures). Firm stitching to back visor, front slightly lose. German Silver (Maillechort) trim with the Bavarian Line frontpate "In Treue Fest". Helmet plate retains both the original roundels and nuts attached to body. No extra holes. Round spike base attached with 4 split brads. Top of spike unscrews to adapt a trichter and plume.

Size "57,5". Mint condition tan calfskin liner with clean ribbed silk lining. A rare set of original flat silver chinscales attached to M1891 posts. Period Reichs and Bavarian NCO Cockades. A definite Private purchase helmet from a Rare Unit. About MINT condition!
