Bavarian Chevau-Leger Officers Pickelhaube "Ensemble"

Black Lacquered leather helmet body in perfect shape with no crazing. Helmet is a wartime production and has silver trim with the spike base and rear spine in wartime ersatz metal. Flea market found in Bavaria! Silver frontplate secured by split brads possibly in Wartime Metal. No other holes. Tall silver metal spike on crossbase that does unscrew for Parade Bush. 3 star retainers. 

Convex set of silver chinscales over Officers Cockades (Reichs and Bavarian) maintained by rosettes. Square front visor with silver trim. Both visor lined red and green in mint condition. Inside lining in MINT condition appears to have never been worn, with both sweat lining and silk untouched. Size 56. Helmet comes with its original Field Cover (perfect fit) and very nice leather carrying case. A rare ensemble in untouched condition.
