100% original helmet that has never been polished or altered.  Over all excellent condition.

Prussian Line Kurassier Reserve Officer Model 1897.  Out of the Woodwork find.  Beautiful fine nickle steel helmet body. Body has excellent form and no dings or dents.  Exterior finish is dulled with 100 years of storage but has no finish loss or rusting. No extra holes in helmet body.  Inside has soft tan sweat leather and  cloth headliner.  Back visor is lined with off white velvet with front visor lined with tanned leather. 

Tall gold cross spike base with cut out cross in throat. Tall silver fluted kurassier style spike top.  Front plate is the Prussian  Line eagle without banner and reserve cross in the tail.  Rounded gilt chinscales on original clover leaf rosettes.  Large style Reichs and Prussian cockades. 100% original helmet that has never been polished or altered.  Over all excellent condition.
