Prussian Jaeger Officers shako circa 1900. Full Officer quality manufacture. Black leather covered with black velvet body in excellent form and firm stitching. Leather lacquer on top and visors is soft with minor crazes from age but with no lacquer loss. Interior has Officer style sweat leather and silk headliner in mint condition.

Prussian smaller type line eagle for shakos that retains about 100% of it original fire gilting. No extra holes in helmet body. Flat fire gilt chinscales on rosettes and Reichs Officer Cockard.  Shako mounted with a Silver bullion and velvet center Officer field badge.  Along with the Gilt Parade Trichter and Black Yack Hair Haarbush (Plume) for Parade. The shako also comes with its hard to find original Leather carrying case in average and worn condition - see pictures- nontheless found as an ensemble direct from private ownership.
Quite a rare and unusual set in absolute dream condition.
