Baden 170th (9th Baden) Enlisted Man of 1915. Nice helmet from old collection. Black lacquered helmet body with field gray trim. Helmet has good form and firm stitching. Stitching still shows white thread. Leather as can be seen on pictures is nearly flawless. Back visor is mildly crazed. No extra holes. Field gray trim in excellent shape. Front plate is the Baden Dragon. Original leather chinstrap with Reichs and Baden cockades. Original EM style liner in excellent condition. Inside helmet bell has discoloration from "sweating" while helmet was upside down. Marked on back visor 1916 and "I.R. 170, B.A. XIV, 57". Great representative of a Baden enlisted helmet of the 1915 model. Nice wartime era marked mans helmet.
