Prussian 7th Jaeger zu Pferde Regiment enlisted man M1900. Out of the Woodwork find. Blued steel helmet body with tombac trim. Helmet body has excellent form and in great condition with no scratches or rusting. Blued exterior slightly bleached with age. Inside has full original leather liner that is slightly shrunken with age and is a bit dry. Marked on inside of back tombac trim "8 JzP" and marked again inside helmet bell "C.E. Juncker 1914".
Large style JzP style crossed base with spike. Base secured with 3 screw style domes and 1 pin back dome. Frontplate is Prussian Dragoon style eagle but with a special cut out crown like seen in officer helmets. Frontplate has normal EM style back loops for retention. Original tombac chinscales on side lugs. Large style Reichs and Prussian cockades. Reichs cockade has lost some paint. 100% original helmet that has never been cleaned or polished. Great historical piece.
