Tombac helmet body in near MINT condition with no dents. Beautiful shape of the last official model produced before the war. Silver trim with Garde Emblem on the front. An eight pointed Star with the "Vaterland Bandeau" on the outer circle and the Garde Motto "SUUM CUIQUE" in the inner cycler surrounding the Black Eagle order.. No extra holes in the body or re-soldered screws. This is its genuine plate. Silver spike base on football shaped plateau with a Tombac spike on the top. $ silver brads holding the base.
Original TOMBAC chinscales over NCO type Cavalry Cockards which is totally proper for this type of helmet -most originals found on the market nowadays are mounted with Brass M1895 Scales. Helmet is marked underneath the Reichs Cockered with "G.K.R." Size "55" and dated "1915". Inside shell the helmet is marked by the Maker "JUNKER" and dated "1915".
Helmet has its original lining in leather, a little tired but original to this shell. Black and Green visor a bit faded as can be seen on the pictures, but definitely not a Repaint!
