Prussian Enlisted pattern model 1895 Pickelhaube - Named "Von der HELM"

Interesting "Einjahr Freiwilliger / Gefreiter" Pickelhaube named to Infanterist VON DER HELM 4th Company, Regt. 53.

Lacquered leather body in very good condition with almost no cracks or crazing. Brass trim overall with Prussian Eagle frontplate retained by it original loops. Brass spike on round spike base retained by four rounded brads.  Round visor with some crazing to leather.

Inside original black lining for an NCO type helmet with some age "fatigue," nonetheless complete. Replacement leather strap complete  with both original Cockards. Inside "etiquette" beautifully marked to the One Year Volunteer Von Der Helm. Quite a unique marking. A real nice helmet that needs some minor TLC.
