Prussian 7th Grenadier "König Wilhelm I" Officers Pickelhaube

Beautiful -near Mint- 7th Grenadier Officers Pickelhaube for the 7th Grenadier Regiment

Black lacquered helmet fiber body with gilt trim.  Body has excellent  form and firm stitching.  Exterior lacquer in excellent shape/condition. Interior has officer sweat leather with silk headliner in excellent condition.  Inner visors colored red and green as is proper for officers helmet.  

No extra holes in helmet body.  Gilt metal trim in almost mint condition.  Large gilt Officer style Prussian Grenadier Frontplate with the "22 MARZ 1797" bandeau that was awarded on the 22nd of March 1897 to this Regiment.  Round spike base with star retainers and tall spike.  Flat gilt chinscales on unique "FWR" type rosettes, worn by this regiment only.   Overall near Mint condition and hard to upgrade.  Beautiful and extremely rare helmet.
