Straight woodwork find. Rare and in pristine condition Garde Korps Artillery Helmet. An absolutely 100% guaranteed original

Black lacquered leather body with round front visor and gilt trim. Round retained by 4 gilt stars and toped with an Artillery type balltop. Frontplate is the large winged Garde Eagle nicely GILT frosted with in its center the Silver Star of the black eagle Order (enameled) and the "SUMM CUIQUE" motto. Frontplate left deep marks in leather as can be seen in pictures.

Both original cockards mounted underneath convex gilt chinscales and rosettes. Inside has  the calfskin lining with a very fine grade of silk. Red and green lined visors.  These helmet where used in the 4 Garde Field Artillery Regts, and wore a white plume during parade.An extremely rare hemet to find in Near Mint condition. Guaranteed 100% original.
