Prussian Field Artillery Enlisted Pickelhaube

Prussian Field Artillery Regiments Enlisted Man Model 1895. Black lacquered leather helmet body with beautiful brass trim. Helmet body has perfect form and firm stitching. The helmet is a very large size.  Probably size 60. Exterior lacquer remains in excellent condition with only some small storage marks. Interior of helmet is the standard black dyed EM leather liner that is complete and in MINT condition. Interior visors are not colored.

Inside stamped “B.A - L”. No extra holes in helmet body. Front plate is the Prussian brass Eagle. The trim including base & Ball Top that is not removable. Brass brads at base of helmet.  Fine rounded chinscales over M91 posts. The rounded chinscales and back visor without vent verify that this is a Field Artillerymans helmet.  Prussian and Reichs Enlisted cockades. This helmet is 100% original and untouched.   Despite its over 100 year age this piece looks new and unissued. You will never find another helmet in such like new condition.
