WW1 Airplane Propeller Segment named to the KIA Pilot

Unusual Artifact.

German WW1 Airplane Propeller that was sawn into segments. Most likely used in the officers mess or other sacred place by his "Flieger" comrades. The writting on top says "Leutnant und Flugzeugfuhrer Albert Gefallen am 10.05.1917 im Luftkampf". We assume this was a piece of his airplanes Propeller. After searching the name we found Lt. der Reserve Werner Albert, killed in action by Vaudesincourt (near Reims in France) on the 10th of May 1917. Copy of the "Gefallendendenkmäler project" we found online.
