SILVER TROPHY - FLUGELADJUDANT - OBERST von PICKELHAUBE Silver Trophy presented to Oberst (Colonel) Richter von Marthilde for recognition of the 50th Anniversary of his service time (April 1, 1832 to April 1, 1882). Colonel v. Marthilde was the Flugel Adjutant to the Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe. The trophy was presented by his comrades of the Schaumberg-Lippe (Buckeburger) Jaeger Battalion. Made in the high Victorian Style by the Princely Court Jeweler Lellmann. Marked by the jeweler and has a "800" mark. Richly decorated with garlands of grape, laurel and oak leaves. Two dedication shields and the Princes heraldic coat of arms. The top piece is a full figure of a Jaeger trooper dressed in the style of the 1840's. Weight 1640 grams with a height of 56cm. Col. v. Marthilde was a well known personage of the era whose is annually the Deutshe Soldaten Book on the anniversary of his death. Overall condition: Excellent "Click on the picture for more detail" |

SAXON 100th LEIB-INFANTRY RESERVE OFFICER HELMET. Black lacquered body with silver trim. Leather body in good form with bright high gloss finish. Nice silver frontplate with gilt saxon crest and reserve cross -no xtra holes-. Flat silver chinscales with both unique pattern saxon and reichs officers cokades. Complete officer style sweat leather and silk headliner with plain visor. Silver spike on round base that untwist to allow for parade bush. Complete in every detail and 100% original untouched helmet.

BADEN 109th LEIB-GRENADIER OFFICER HELMET. Baden Leib-Infantry Regt. 109th Reserve Officer spiked helmet. Black lacquered body with silver trim. Out of the woodwork find. Leather body in good form with bright high gloss finish and some very light cracks around spike base (see photos). Firm stitching to visors. Metal trim in fine silver, Tall spike (with some slight damage at base) and nice silver frosting to frontplate. In its center, the "Hausorden zu Treue" or "Fidelity order", silver starburst with red enameled cross and gilt trim. Enamel is 100% without damage (beside a small splint in the trim, see pics)...flat gilt chinscales. Complete officer style sweat leather and silk headliner. Some pebling under the visors, otherwise Rare makers marked. Complete in every detail including original cockades. 100% original and untouched helmet.

HESSEN RESERVE INFANTRY OFFICER PICKELHAUBE Nice leather shell, with some minor crazing. Gold trim for Officer. Visors are lined red and green. Tall Hessen fluted spike for officers that unscrews, mounted on Hessen style cross base and retained with domed screws. Original convex chinstrap with both Hessen and Reichs cocardes for Officers. Hessen back spine with both retaining lugs. Firm stitching to front visors, one side lose on the back visor, that can be easily fixed. Nicely gilt Officers Wappen with reserve cross. NO extra holes. Complete lining in leather and silk. A very fine example straight from the woodworks and totally uncleaned. guaranteed 100% Original. GERMAN Model 1916 CAMO STEEL HELMET Out of the woodwork, nice WW1 German camouflage helmet. Original paint with some minor wear towards the top of shel (see pics)l. No dings of stress cracks. BADEN INFANTRY "Einjahrfreiwilliger" PICKELHAUBE. Nice leather Shell (Federleicht type) in overall good condition with some lite crazing and a couple of laquer spots missing - see pics. Beautiful gold trim for Officer that will clean up to almost mint. Firm stitching to front visor -lined green - and one side slightly loose at back visor - lined red. Tall NCO type spike does unscrew for parade bush, spike is mounted on round base and held by gilt screw studs (one missing). Nicely gilt frosted wappen with no extra holes. Original Cockades and leather chinstrap. Original leather/silk lining. A very fine example guaranteed Original as described. Metal trim has been left in near mint condition, and totaly un-cleaned. Gilt officer spike (that untwists to fit a parade plume) held by officers stars. Helmet retains both the Reichs cocardes and Baden searated type under the chinscales. Beautiful Baden Reserve Officer plate with no extra holes. PRUSSIAN ARTILLERY EM PICKELHAUBE Prussian 67th Field Artillery Enlisted Mans helmet Model 1895. Black lacquered leather body with brass trim. Firm leather body with excellent stitching. Unusual circular scratches on both side of helmet above cockades (??) that can be polished out. Other wise finish is in excellent shape. Fine quality brass trim with unvented back spine that was used by field artillery until early 1900's. Original Reichs and Prussian cockade. Chinstrap is a quality replacement.
