Outstanding and rare service dress Prussian officer
Prussian Uhlan Regiments 5, 6, 7 (until 1913), 8, 15 and 16 - Officers Tschapka circa 1900. The helmet is presented in “Service (Dienst) Form without rabatte or cords. Black lacquered leather body with silver frontplate and gold chinscales. The helmet has excellent form with all leather mortar board and proper turned down front visor. Visor stitching in firm condition. The exterior lacquer is in excellent condition and still has nice sheen.
No extra holes in the helmet body. Black leather mortar board is in excellent condition and has proper officer hook for parade cords. The helmet interior has sweat leather and silk headliner that is slightly discolored. The silver front plate is the small Uhlan sized Prussian heraldic eagle. Original rounded gold chinscales and original Reichs officer cockade. The helmet does not have the field badge. Outstanding and rare service dress Prussian officer tschapka.
