Prussian Leib Garde Hussar "Private Purchase" Attila and Cap

A wonderful Private Purchase Ensemble for the Prussian Leib Garde Hussar, including:

Leib Garde Hussar Attila (Tunic) - Hussar tunic composed of tightly woven poppy red wool decorated with flat yellow woolen braid to the five chest rows of 'frogging', rear trim, collar, Hungarian style cuffs and shoulder straps. The cuffs feature the special yellow trim with red centerline unique to this regiment. Each row of chest frogging features two gilt brass rosettes at each end and a center brass lozenge-shaped fastening toggle. A yellow braid first class lance / sword proficiency award is present on the upper right sleeve. The interior is lined with bright red linen cloth. Tunic shows some minor wear and dirt spot but no mooth damage (see pictures).

Leib Garde Hussar Cap (Kratzchen) - Peakless cap with a red body, dark blue band and yellow piping around the crown and band edges. National and Prussian cockades to the front. Interior linen lining with makers name from Potsdam.
