Named to Einjährig-Freiwilliger "Metzger" 3.Company Fusilie Regiment "General Feldmarschall Prinz Albrecht Von Preussen (Hannovarian) Nr. 73.

Black lacquered leather body with round front visor and gold trim. Helmet has excellent form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer is in excellent - mint - shape with high gloss besides a crease on one side (see Pictures). Interior has an EM style leather lining in pristine condition, still supple. Inside back shell is the owner label that reads::Einjährig-Freiwilliger "Metzger" 3.Company Fusilie Regiment "General Feldmarschall Prinz Albrecht Von Preussen (Hannov.) Nr. 73". Round spike base with 4 split brads at the spike base. Gold EM type spike that is non removable. as this unit carried no plumes.
Front plate is the Fire Gilt Prussian Eagle "Wappen" -officers/NCO grade- with the "Mint Gott Fur Koenig und Vaterland" Bandeau. This regiment was awarded it "Peninsula?Waterloo" Banner 1n 1899, hence after the time this particular model was used/assigned. NO extra holes in helmet body. No strap or Cockards. A beautiful and untouched helmet. An original helmet in about as good condition as it gets. Bargain priced.
