German WW1 Model 1916 1st Garde a Foot Camouflage Steel Helmet
Extremely Rare Camo Pattern. 100% Original
A highly distinctive and unusual pattern camouflage M.16 helmet. Shell size "ET 64". An interesting color combination with thin black separation lines. The Black and White "Hohenzollern" coat of Arms is original to this helmet. The shell is overall very sound with some surface rust (mainly on top) and faded colors. Shell retains its original leather band, unfortunately the three rivets and the pads are gone. Inside the back of the helmet is the Owners name in white paint "SASSMEK" (or close to) along with faded black paint markings. This helmet shell has never been oiled or cleaned and was left untouched.
